Even last season he wasnt too bad for me, or even some games start of this season. But last 6 weeks or so he has been woeful, where has the player of 2 years ago gone?

Nothing changes...last night just confirmed we need to replace Reid, Zabaleta ,Kouyate and Obiang pronto.

I'm glad everyone is starting to realise The Myth is the real problem in our team. I'm not looking for apologies, just want him out the team now, it's gone beyond being proved right, it's painful watching him mince around without a clue.

There has been a common theme in our performances recently.

When Obiang started in the middle with Noble, we beat Chelsea, drew with Arsenal and beat Stoke. Obiang played well, he had good support next to him in Noble, and we looked a good solid team.

Kouyate returns, starts every game, and we are utterly dire, especially defensively, as his game management, tracking back and responsibility is a disgrace.

You need to re-direct your hatred. We are starting with 10 men when Kouyate starts, he is a disgusting footballer, who offers not a solitary positive to a football team.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v WBA - Official Match Thread FT 2-1
Great win....made a meal of it but a huge 3 points

Thought the performance wasn't bad, we created a lot of chances and they only went in ahead at the break due to a deflected goal with their only real chance of the half. First half Reid made two errors but the rest of them game he was pretty solid, he was alot better on the ball than in recent weeks mainly due to playing to feet rather than useless clips forward.

Rest of back 5 pretty solid, Cresswell needs to have more confidence to break from the back more and Zabaleta needs to stop having a shit first touch to always end up on his left foot or trying to shuffle it inside. Masuaku is incredibly frustrating to watch. He probably had his easiest opponent all season in Craig Dawson up against him and he seemed reluctant to go and attack him at every oppourtunity. He should of pissed passed him every time with his pace but he either stands behind opposition players so he cant receive the ball or he fails to run into space for someone like Obiang to hit a diag too. If the geezer had a brain he'd be a serious threat for us.

Biggest issue last night for me was Kouyate, bloke is a clueless numpty running around the middle of the park. He doesnt ever offer himself to be a opttion for our defenders or in particular Obiang. I like Obiang, and thought Kouyate should of been hooked at half time instead. Least Obiang was getting on the ball and spreading it around. Second half i lost count the amount of times Kouyate just ran forward into the final third when we are in posession with a man looking for a forward pass. He justs runs into a area, never changes his bodyshape to be a option or calls for ball just pointlessly goes and stands near Carroll. A CM this window is a must after last night.

Arnie was superb again, he is our player to make things happen right now. Lanzini was good, just needs to always try and get in the pockets. Fair play to AC, two fantastic finishes even if he does frustrate by not always challenging for the ball.

If we can nick a point against Spurs then it becomes a good week, need Chicarito to have a blinder though cant imagine Carroll and maybe even Arnie will be able to turn out two 90 mins in two days

Biggest positive from last night is hopefully we've seen the back of that donkey Obiang
He'd be the first one I'd ship out of the door Cullen couldn't possibly be worse than this cart horse....the pathetic challenge that deflected off of him summed him up if he just stood up it would of hit him on the knee. I can't actually remember a single player being so singly culpable for so many goals in one season

It was far from pretty but we deserved the win.

If we can get a result as well tomorrow night then it would be a real bonus but I'm not hopeful of that.

Good to see noble come on to actually pass the ball to lanzini rather than lose it koyate loses control up step mark to pass to lanzini to score.

Obiang or koyote suprise if either got over 40 % passes. I wanted koyoute sub but either would have done.

Carroll was all over the place outof position but one good cross and we were in the game.

I'd rather Dawson than Mawson. He played well tonight. Rice is getting better with every appearance and his confidence is growing. It's good to see. He's made errors and will make some more but so did young Rio and he didn't turn out too bad.

It's imperative that we keep Lanzini. The more he and Arnautovic play together the better their understanding is becoming. We should build the team around those two.

Masuaku is still only 24 and has the talent to turn in to a right handful. As for Andy Carroll, when you think he should be shot he comes up with a performance like tonight.

Many on here espouse that we should routinely beat teams like West Brom - but Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool couldn't. It's the premier league, there are no easy fixtures and some on here need to get their heads around that.

I was so glad to see Noble come on for the second half. I hope he came through that with no complications, because he is the best we have in midfield, aside from him being our captain. Until we buy in better players, he has to be the first name on the team sheet.

Most of us in the stadium were pissed off with what looked like a lacklustre performance from Carrol, but what a way to mug us off, with that header and that finish to win it. He owed us thise goals, and he gave us them, so fair enough. Hopefully he can bag some more. Good to see him last 90 minutes and be effective at the death.

Oggy amazing rescue near the end. My heart was in my mouth, I really thought we would concede, but excellent recovery.

Arnie was the only one in the first half who seemed to care. He worked hard for the whole match, in defence as well as attack and chasing lost causes.

Declan Rice is a gem. I hope he becomes our captain at some point. he has it in him.

Creswell got a great assist, but it's tyoical he got injured and may not be able to build on that assist, because generally he was so low on confidence. In the first half there were at least 5 occasions where Arthur was wide left with acres on space in front of him and Cresswell didn't have the bottle to make what is a simple driven pass to run on to. He looked up and saw the pass, but chose to stop and cut back for a safe pass inside or back. In the days when he was combining with Payet, he was confident enough to make those passes, but he's lost his mojo for now.

Lanzini was as happy as me to have Noble to work with in the second half.

I'm too happy to have got the result to go into the really annoying details with certain players. We have had some rotten luck of late, so I will take this unglamorous win all night long.

At this point in time Noble is a far better option than the currently pathetic Kayoute and Obiang.
